My Life

Happy Mother’s Day!

To All Mothers:

Happy Mother’s day to every single mother out there.

Be it a step-mother, an aunt, a grandmother, your best friend’s mother, birth mother, and every single woman that has ever stepped up to the plate to care for a child in need.

Not everyone who has a child is a mother.  They may have given birth, but does not mean they are a mother.  A mother is nurturing, caring, stern, guiding, frustrating, a pain in the butt, your best friend, your confidant, and your go to person for troubles. They are the ones that tell us stories of how they fell in love, of how they grew up, they try to guide us even when we don’t want to listen.

They want what is best for us when we want to do something else.

To My Mother:

My mother (step-mother) and I have never seen eye-to-eye and it has resulted in many fights, especially this past May to August (2011).  We have hardly spoken to each other since I graduated and moved away to live with my grandparents (August).  All the holidays and times I called my family, they live in California while I live in Oregon, I spoke to her a total of one hour over the nine months.  Our conversations have been awkward and short but it does not change the fact I love my Mommy and I miss her.  I have always been a Daddy’s girl because my birth mother left me to him.  I never knew how horrible she was because the court told him he could not speak ill of her until my eighteenth birthday, but I found out on my own how terrible she was.  Before, I thought she walked on water.  I am grateful for when my Mommy came into the picture.

She taught me how to walk, talk, tie my shoes, eat, dress myself (properly) and many more things.  She put up with my tantrums, my attitudes, times when she has wanted to throttle me, and my meltdowns.  She went to every recital, unless she couldn’t get out of work, every band performance, choir performance, awards ceremony, times I went to the hospital, soccer game, tee-ball game, practices, and everything else in between.  When we we’re down on our luck we still had birthdays, Christmases, Easters, Halloweens, and everything else.  I was fed, clothed, had a roof over my head, hot water, heat, and a lot more compared to what others didn’t have.  I didn’t whine when I was in high school and didn’t have a cell phone, I didn’t fuss because I couldn’t have designer clothes, I didn’t complain because I didn’t have my own room and had to share with my two younger sisters, because I had something some don’t have, something money can’t buy.  I had a mother.

She didn’t have to take care of me, she didn’t have to love me, she didn’t have to bother with me when she had four kids of her own, but she did.  She hugged me, she helped me up when I was down.  She took care of me when I was sick.

We may not see eye-to-eye still, and we may still have a strained relationship, but I still love her and wouldn’t want anyone else to take her place.

Well, don’t run her ragged.  Otherwise she won’t be able to return on here.

Yikes!  With all the babysitting jobs I have coming up the weeks will go by fast.  My eldest sister was in ballet.

I’ll let her go in a bit. Probably. She only has church tomorrow, pfft.

I am terrified. Ahhhhhhhhhh XD but yeah, it’ll be great if we can get it to work. We’re doing Coppelia

Good, =) I used to go to church.

You’ll do exceptionally wonderful

I don’t understand it. I am a goddess, I’m real and here, yet they still all trot off to worship something they can’t see. *shrugs*

N’aawwwww thank you.

Its cause it gives them a sense of ease, something to believe in.  Almost like Santa.  When you’re little and something bad happens you know you’re going to get a present from Santa, its hope. *shrugs*  I’ve just found I’d rather help people then cling to something that has let so much bad happen to my family

welcome >.<

Sensible. She’s still deluded, poor thing. She does say it helps her. But I think I’m going to put her to bed now… So farewell.

Hmm… well, whatever helps her sleep better.  I shall talk to you soon.  Sleep well the both of you.

Hahah, keep dragging her back Well, she should go to bed.  She needs to be in tiptop shape to keep those infidels that call themselves actors in line.

when is the last one?

She should. But I don’t really care, I’m having too much fun. She can deal.

Our last show is May 11th, I know it’s awhile away, but right now, we have no show, and my ballet recital is on may 12th. Aaaahhh.

Mine is also new, though, a couple of weeks old now.

Nice, nice.  And how is your writer?

The girl is debating whether she should go collapse into her own bed. I keep dragging her back, but I don’t think I can make her stay much longer. She’s had a tough day. I think I heard her muttering about rehearsals.

Yes. Fucking rehearsals.

I am well, getting perturbed by my cousin and babysitting.  And getting ready to go home.  So I may be a few moments in replying back to you.

That’s a pity, children can be a hassle. Also, I’ll attempt to still be here when you get back.

They can, but i enjoy them.  And they listen to me very easily.  All I have to do is sing and they fall asleep.  And my house isn’t too far from where I am at.

Well, that’s alright then. Hurry back. *chuckles*
